Sara Jayyousi Writer & Tutor

I am a passionate creative writer who works under the genre of hybrid poetry. I love to help others, whether it be by tutoring them in subjects they struggle with or by listening to them speak if they're upset. I want to see my poetry books on bookshelves one day. Most importantly, I want to know that I have affected lives positively and encouraged others to follow their dreams. I graduated in December of 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in English, cum laude. At WSU, I had the opportunity to tutor students within the APEX Bridge Program to advance their writing skills. I was also part of the Detroit Fellows Project, tutoring elementary student kids to enhance their reading skills.  I wish to obtain a work position that allows me to create, grow, and share my unique qualifications as a writing professional.
